U4GM What to Do in ARC Raiders Eyes on the Prize Quest
A lot of Tian Wen's errands are "grab it and go," but Eyes on the Prize is the one that punishes you before you even load in. Do your prep in the stash first, same as you would when sorting ARC Raiders Items for a risky run. You need three Wires, and you need them on you when you interact with the spot. People keep dropping in empty-handed thinking they'll just loot them mid-raid. Sometimes you can, sure, but it turns a simple objective into a scavenger hunt while other squads are rotating through the same tech rooms.
What to pack and where to stash it
Bring exactly three Wires, and don't get clever with it. Put them in your safe pockets if you've got the space. If you keep them in your main bag, one bad angle on a rooftop and you're back to square one. I've seen players "save" safe-pocket space for meds, then get clipped by a patrol and lose the quest items instead. It's not worth it. Loadout-wise, you don't need anything fancy, but a mid-range gun and a couple of smokes help because this mission puts you in open sightlines more than you'd expect.
Finding the right roof without a waypoint
Queue into the Buried City map and aim yourself toward the southwest side of Southern Station. The quest text talks about a secluded roof terrace, but in practice all the rooftops blend together. The easiest mental route is to drift toward the highway edge near Plaza Rosa. Watch for two landmarks: blue tarps and a tight patch of solar panels. If you're sprinting around looking for a glowing objective marker, you'll miss it. Slow down for ten seconds, scan the rooflines, and you'll spot the panels before you burn half your stamina mantle-hopping.
Fixing the junction box and getting out clean
Once you're on the terrace, the interaction is simple. There's a yellow junction box wired into the solar setup; walk up, hold the prompt, and the game consumes the three Wires. No boss, no forced extract, no extra steps. That said, the roof is a billboard. Arc units path through Plaza Rosa, and players love to post up and take easy shots at anyone standing still. Try approaching through back alleys, do the repair fast, then rotate immediately toward an extraction instead of looting the area out of habit.
Turning it in and making the reward matter
Hand the mission back to Tian Wen as soon as you can, because the attachments are actually useful: Extended Shotgun Mag II and Extended Medium Mag II both stretch your staying power in messy fights. It's a small bump, but it changes how long you can hold an angle before you've gotta reload. If you're already planning future upgrades and chasing rarer crafting drops, it's worth keeping an eye on ARC Raiders Legendary Material so your next few raids build toward something bigger.
